The journey continues...

Question: "Are you leaving Panama City?"
Answer: "Yes."
Question: "When?"
Answer: "We don't know, should be soon though."
Question: "Where are you going?"
Answer: "We don't know yet, wherever we feel God wants us to go."

At this point in the conversation an odd, turn of the head, and a quick reply such as, "Oh", or "I see" is usually noted, with a quick end to the conversation. I laugh to myself as I realize just how crazy the words that come out of my mouth sound and yet, they are the solid, end all truth. We are bracing for the future, clenching every scripture & offering up every tear to the Lord, in our plea for His will and His direction. I invite you to follow us on this mind boggling adventure as we seek to follow the Lord wherever He asks us to go.

In the last few weeks, I believe God has brought us to a place of contentment as we struggled, squirmed & sought to know every detail of what God has for us & why He would choose this time to prompt us to leave this city and these people we have fallen so in love with. And in not receiving all the answers we wanted, at the pace we wanted them, we have resorted to this truth, "Whatever He tells us to do, wherever He tells us to go, whether we have little or a lot, we will follow Him." No need to figure it all out.

During this time I have studied the lives of so many saints. John the Baptist who lived in the desert, eating locusts, & shaping history for sure with his determination to prepare the way of the Lord, no matter what it cost him. Paul, who traveled all the time, was sent to prison, what seemed like daily, & yet was right in the will of God during these times. And Jesus, oh, Jesus! In his early 30's was directed by God to allow himself to be beaten, humiliated &
murdered by being nailed to a cross. This was God's perfect will for his life!?! All of the sudden my silly unanswered questions seem so small.

So that's where we are now. Looking...Praying...Looking...Praying. While internally sticking to a commitment to do whatever is asked of us & seeking God for His perfect will. Truly walking in faith! Please keep us in your prayers during this time & we will let you know when the right door opens, wherever that may be.
