Amelia's 9th Birthday LUAU

Here are some pics from Amelia's birthday party LUAU this weekend! It was a lot of fun! She had picked out this extremely expensive cake from Publix that she wanted for the LUAU and after much research, I was able to make this one for half the price! I was very proud! :) Amelia LOVES these rubber ducky Luau people, and wanted them on the cake. It was a feat to get everything on there, but it all worked out! The only bust, was the punch which though tasted very Hawaiian, ended up with a weird color after I added our colorful oranges. (Though they were super fun to make!) Thanks to our family that came into town and helped, it was a great party! Hopefully Amelia will remember it for years to come! I still can't believe she's 9 years old!?
