View this post on Instagram Today we are using the Easter scavenger hunt from @happyhomefairy to remind the kids about Jesus death, resurrection & ascension into heaven! We even got inspired to make these little crosses from the 2 sticks in the scavenger hunt. ❤️ We can’t forget to teach our kids what happened AFTER Easter! ⛅️ • • • If you look closely you can see the daffodil. They have become one my favorite flowers. Daffodils are one of the first flowers to bloom after the harsh winter. They’re a sign that winter has passed & springtime is here. They grow wild & therefore are a beautiful free gift for kings & for paupers. Sound familiar? 😍 I have to tell you, my littles were pretty enthralled hearing stories of Jesus’ life after the cross. Hearing how he appeared to people and then disappeared. They loved learning about doubting Thomas & how he actually SAW the nail holes in Jesus’ hands! We talked about doubt & how Jesus said to Thomas, “You believe because you have seen, but blessed are those who have not seen me and believe.” • • • Even my newly 4 year old is catching so much of this with her 7 year old brother. To see the wonder and gratefulness of this resurrection story come alive in their little minds is incredible. I’m humbled that I get to share the greatest love story ever told to my kids...first.
